In ancient days the rivers of our country were full of pure water. People used to drink and bathe in it and used to feel the joy. Our main pilgrimage sites are situated on the banks of these holy rivers. Development of these shrines located on the banks of rivers is an important task in terms of environmental protection. It is necessary to clarify that continuity is very important in these works only then such efforts can be successful. Besides Government effort, every conscious person should make every effort in this direction with religious intentions and dedication as well as government support. With this concept, the work done with public cooperation on pilgrimages located in Vrindavan and around Lucknow has been mentioned in this article. Its purpose is that following this, efforts should be made in this direction at other places also.
